| No More Secrets |
Okay, I'm sorry for the long delay. I really didn't intend to get everybody up in arms about the secret. I should've just played along and done my Mrtl Monday post like a good little blogger. But no, I have to be all secretive about my, um, secrets.
Excellent guesses on the secret for those that played. My mom played, too, except she played by calling me at lunchtime every day this week and quizzing me. I think she secretly wants us to move back home so she can hang with Lauren more often. No, we are not moving.
So, without further ado, I give you not one, but three secrets.
1. I am a cafepress.com junkie.
This week I asked Shaun, the uber-talented boyfriend of the uber-funny Kristine, to personalize some cafepress stuff for me at his Holey Shirt store. I just love the result:

As long as you fully intend to purchase something, he will make something nice and purty for you, too. What's better than personalized blogging gear? Not much, I say. Make sure you browse his current selection as well. I bought a nifty "Slow down, I'm blogging this" shirt as well. Note: Some selections are not intended for children under 17. If you get easily offended by things like gum on the sidewalk or drivers that flip the bird, then I would suggest you don't click on the link to his store.
2. Rance gave notice.
But isn't going to be a SAHD. He's been trying to wrap up some loose ends before taking an offer with another company. He promises that this job will be more 8 to 5 than his past 7 to 7 jobs. Lauren and I are happy about that.
3. I've met some really great people while blogging, but I have a secret fear about meeting in person. I worry that our personalities will clash and that I won't be as funny in person. And then they will blog about what a dork I am in person.
So, I did it. I met another blogger for Mexican and some ice cream on Friday night. And we had fun. Wonder who it was? Click here. If you know, feel free to place your bets in the comments. |
