 Chillin like a lil 'un.
Brrrrr! Did you all see that flash of wind blow by? That was fall, saying goodbye to 90's and hello to wintry 50 degree weather. My North Dakotan grandmother would be spitting her false teeth into her hot cup of tea if she read that, that is, if she even had a computer.
They have snow today. Thank you Mom and Dad for moving us to Okra-homa in the 80's.
We had so much fun putting Lauren's winter coat on this morning. She, however, did not. She's workin' it like a neck brace in that picture, I tell ya.
If only it scared me enough to stay out of the fridge.
When I was greeted at the door this afternoon, my HDL's four year old daughter snuck behind the door and unpeeled this fabulous work of art off the back.
"Lauren made this!" she said. "Wow!" I told her, and I thought all she was good at doing was making poo pies in her diaper. Way to go Lauren. It is now proudly displayed on the refrigerator as Lauren's first gallery piece - the kitchen being the gallery, that is. The only difference from my kitchen and a real gallery is that we serve fish sticks and grape juice instead of caviar and wine. |
