Farlito was checking GrandmaDog for cake remnants at last year's surprise party.
Today is my mom's birthday. Happy birthday, Granny Grin! She is 29-years-old today. Seeing as how she had me when she was 23, that would make me six-years-old. Yeah, I could handle being six for the day. I'm all over that like snout on pig*. Bring on the cake and pinata, people!
*Forgive the redneck simile. When your daughter says "pig" for the first time, it's entirely possible to have nothing but that word on the brain. She said it last night. And then my HDL told me that Lauren graduated to a nap mat from the pack-n-play this week. Where has my little girl gone? If Target ever sells a universal remote for life, I'll be the first in line, ready to hit the rewind button repeatedly until it falls off.
