| Babies Eat Grocery Money |
If you haven't checked out Grocery Lists.org, you have been missing out. It's absolutely addicting, so much so, that I submitted one of my own lists (#614) that you see above.
I really avoid the grocery store now that we have Lauren. It's not only the teaming billions of germs everywhere, but the fact that I can't get out of Wal-Mart for under $200.
Diapers: $15 Diapers for sitters: $15 Box of wipes: $8 Formula: $23 Formula for sitters: $23 Baby food: $.55/jar * 6 jars/day * 7 days/wk = $23 Peanut butter bon bons: $4
Of course, the PB bon bons are for my snacking pleasure, but it's a necessity. If momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.
It's amazing how much Lauren consumes for such a little fart. She hasn't eaten anything yet that she spit out or didn't like for that matter. I suppose it's better than worrying over a baby that won't eat anything, but at least those parents don't fret when the dreaded grocery total pops up.
Slowest cashier on planet Earth: "$234.17. Will that be cash, check or charge?" Momma shops-a-lot: "Wow, that's a lot of money. Can I pay you in peanut butter bon bons, or better yet, dirty diapers?" |
