Lauren at 2 months
I was hoping not to detract from the lovely posting about bread from earlier tonight, but I have an announcement.
Tonight, as Rance held Lauren across the living room, I started waving my "finger open and close" wave to her. She looked and me and thought a second. She started to clench the fingers of her right hand open and close and then both hands simultaneously. But it wasn't a wave where the wrist was pointed up, it was a clench as though she was reaching for something...like a bottle.
Yes, after 5 months of using baby sign language with Lauren, she signed the word "Milk" tonight. Mama and Papa are so proud. And yes, she slammed it down. |
