Wife to husband, Rancito, of 4 years. Mother of one-year old daughter, Lauren, two mini wiener dogs that I refer to as Farkota, and one big mutt named Champ. This is my way of telling Lauren I have loved her since the day I saw her tiny bean body on the ultrasound screen.

What Did You Just Say?
When do babies normally say their first word? Rance and I are each on a mission to have Lauren say "Ma Ma" or "Da Da" first. Last night, she said "Ma Ma" and "Mom" clear as day. Of course, it kind of turned into the "buh buh" game where she says it over an over. I'm just wondering if I get bragging rights or not...
