| The Pictures That Broke the Bank |

That's me releasing all of the pent up excitement I've been internalizing for the past few days. Okay, and maybe a couple of bean burritos I had for dinner.
You may remember that I said there was a tantrum picture taken of Lauren on Wednesday, but not with my camera. I recently reconnected with a high school/college friend that lives nearby. She's the one responsible for "Kelly's Photolog" link in my Blogroll. Kelly takes fantastic photographs of her children, and she's also branched out by taking pictures of other people's heathens for moola...while working part-time...and pregnant with her third child. Kelly is 2005's Superwoman Mom of the Year. My goodness, woman.
Kelly showed up Wednesday night at our home with half a million props and outfits in tow. Lauren took to her almost immediately, most likely by her soothing sing-song voice that all mothers tend to adopt during childbirth. Although I could tell Lauren desperately needed a nap when I picked her up from daycare, Kelly worked with our little Vogue'er like a pro. It seemed like Lauren had her hands in front of her mouth the entire time, but only one of the proofs showed her doing it, to Mommy's relief.
It took me all day to decide which photos I should order, and even then I wasn't sure. Kelly, you are too good for me. Next time, I'm going to Wal-Mart where all I have to do is decide on which one I hate the least.
