| Tell Me A Secret, Dakota |
Oh, my girls. Aren't they a pair? Lauren is getting stronger and stronger each day. Today she was up on all fours, rocking back and forth. Unfortunately, she has yet to discover forward propulsion. Right now, we've shifted into reverse and that's the only direction we can go for now. Lauren also loves to be tossed up into the air like a pizza pie. I'm so afraid my arm will snap in two (or some other improbable horror) that she hardly ever leaves my hands. So, basically, I'm benching my baby. Great workout. I'll do another 5 sets tomorrow.
I ran across a nifty little website today, AstroTot. They sell warped gear for kids: onesies and t-shirts with oddball sayings like:
tax break I have a wedgie diapers are for babies . Mommy (or Daddy) needs coffee. Do you smell something funny?
I was just cracking up. I had to come up with some on my own:
My parents took a vacation and the only souvenir they got was me. Have you seen my false teeth? Caution: Falling rocks Yes, they're real. The dog kissed me after he did WHAT?
I called my mom and said we'll have to do our own using her embroidery machine. I'm not about to cough up $18 for a onesie she can wear for only 3 months. Mom laughed at the idea and had one of her own to offer:
Spit happens.
